Letter from the Editor: Pinkbike’s Next Chapter with Outside
Private equity is going to ruin everything isn't it?. I'm sorry PinkBike, but no matter how hard you are trying to sell this to us, the fact that you are talking about a pay wall is all I needed to hear to fear the worst. I hope you will prove us all (>90% of the comments?) wrong and actually the business will remain independent and the community survive this decision. I get it, you guys want to retire at some point. Thanks for the good run. It's been a part of my daily routine for the past 15 years to visit this site and have some fun reading the comments session. It was astonishing to see a small niche company grow and succeed in a increasingly harsh business world. I wish you had opted to remain an independent company and did not pursue the private equity way. It never brings anything good I'm afraid. Good luck anyway guys!
